PreCognise

Organizations & recruiters

This guide walks an organization through signing up to PreCognise and bringing its recruiters on board to discover verified talent. It takes about five minutes end to end.

There are two kinds of people in this flow:

  • The organization admin — the person who sets up the organization account and invites recruiters.
  • Recruiters — the people who search and reach out to verified candidates on your organization's behalf.

If you're the admin, start at step 1. If you've been invited as a recruiter, skip ahead to step 3, Accepting your invite.

1. Create your organization account

  1. Go to PreCognise and sign up (or sign in if you already have an account).
  2. When asked "How will you use PreCognise?", choose Organisation.
  3. Tell us about your organization:
    • Name — your company or institution's name.
    • TypeEmployment (you hire and verify work history) or Education (you verify degrees and credentials).
    • Description and website — optional, but they help candidates recognise and trust you.
  4. Select Create organisation account.

That's it — you're now the admin of your organization, and you'll land on your organization dashboard.

A note on verification. Some capabilities — such as posting jobs or issuing credential verifications — become available once your organization is verified. You can invite recruiters and explore the dashboard right away; verification only gates those specific features.

2. Invite your recruiters

Your recruiters don't create their own organization — you invite them into yours.

  1. From your organization dashboard, open Recruiters.
  2. Enter the recruiter's work email and select Add recruiter.
  3. We email that person an invitation to join your organization. You'll see them listed under Pending invites until they accept.

You can invite as many recruiters as you need. Each pending invite can be revoked at any time from the Recruiters page if you change your mind or sent it to the wrong address.

One recruiter, one organization. A recruiter belongs to a single organization at a time. If the email you enter already belongs to a recruiter at another organization, they'll need to be removed there first.

3. Accepting your invite

(This part is for the recruiter.)

  1. Open the invitation email and select the join link.
  2. Sign up (or sign in, if you already have an account).
  3. You're placed straight into the organization as a recruiter — there's no extra setup and no role to choose. You'll land on recruiter search, ready to go.

If you ever sign in and don't land where you expect, just head to the recruiter area from the navigation — your access follows your account automatically.

4. What recruiters can do

Once they've joined, recruiters can:

  • Search verified talent with AI-powered candidate search.
  • Use your organization's job board.
  • Reach out to candidates directly.

Everything a recruiter does is on behalf of your organization.

5. What admins can see and manage

As the admin, from the Recruiters page you can:

  • See each recruiter and a snapshot of their activity (searches run, candidates contacted).
  • Open an individual recruiter to review their conversations and reach-outs.
  • Remove a recruiter at any time. They immediately lose access to your organization, but they keep their own account and their history is preserved for your records.

Recruiters are managed entirely on the Recruiters page — they won't appear in your organization's staff member list, and staff won't appear in your recruiter list.

Frequently asked questions

The invitation email hasn't arrived. Check the recruiter's spam folder first, and confirm the email address is correct. If it's still missing, revoke the pending invite and send a fresh one.

Can a recruiter belong to two organizations? No — a recruiter is tied to one organization at a time. Remove them from their current organization before inviting them elsewhere.

What happens to a recruiter's work when I remove them? They lose access to your organization, but their account remains theirs and their past activity stays available to you.

Do recruiters get the same access as my admins? No. Recruiters can search, use your job board, and reach out to candidates — they can't manage the organization or its staff.
