Here's a first-person version: At De Tempête Limited, a UK-based HMRC Authorised Agent and Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP), I work as Senior Manager overseeing accounting, tax, payroll, and corporate services for UK and international clients. In this role, I prepare and file Corporation Tax returns (CT600), Self Assessment (SA100), and MTD-compliant VAT returns across a multi-client portfolio. I manage end-to-end UK payroll using Xero and QuickBooks Advanced Payroll, handling RTI submissions, SMP/SSP calculations, NEST auto-enrolment, and Employment Allowance claims — including leading a complex 71-employee TUPE transfer. I also draft and submit HMRC penalty appeal letters on reasonable excuse grounds, register clients for VAT and PAYE, and advise on compliance obligations and HMRC correspondence. On the corporate side, I handle UK company formations, Confirmation Statements, director and PSC changes via Companies House WebFiling, and conduct ACSP identity verification checks in line with AML/KYC requirements. Day-to-day, I deliver full-cycle bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and management accounts across Xero, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books, and provide advisory support to international clients on company structuring, banking feasibility, and multi-jurisdiction bookkeeping.
